WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HYALURONIC ACID INJECTIONS FOR WRINKLES

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HYALURONIC ACID INJECTIONS FOR WRINKLES

What are the properties of hyaluronic acid?

The medical properties of hyaluronic acid were discovered in 1970 and were first used in ophthalmology. It has been used since the 2000s for medical aesthetics. Hyaluronic acid has hydrating properties, which is why it makes such an effective wrinkle filler product. The great advantage of using HA is that the hyaluronic acid molecule is naturally already present in our body.

How does hyaluronic acid work?

Injections of hyaluronic acid are of invaluable help when it comes to fighting skin aging. After the age of 40, the number of HA molecules in our body goes down. So the hyaluronic acid injections are there to provide new molecules to the tissues, to ensure optimal hydration and reduce wrinkles. This is why it’s called anti-wrinkle hyaluronic acid.

botulinum toxin or hyaluronic acid?

botulinum toxin injections are often used in addition to hyaluronic acid injections. botulinum toxin injections have a tightening effect (they relax the muscle) while hyaluronic acid injections have a wrinkle filling effect. It is often recommended to use both techniques for a complete facial treatment.
